qyouthbucks.net is a project run by the Buckinghamshire Youth Service to make contact with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people from across Buckinghamshire.

In the forum section of the website, you will find two forums, one for general discussion and one that is secure.  Anyone can access the general discussions forum, so we respectfully request that you do not arrange to meet up with anyone through this forum, and that you respect other people's boundaries with respect to their identity.  Once we know who you are, we can allow you to access the secure forum that is for members only.

Buckinghamshire Youth Service will enable, promote and encourage the social, cultural, moral, emotional, spiritual and physical development of young people and thereby provide opportunities for them to contribute to their local communities and to society as a whole.

 

Purpose

 

Buckinghamshire Youth Service aims to deliver social education which enables young people to develop interests and learn ways of using their leisure time; acquire new skills; build confidence and self esteem; cope with changes in their life; make their own decisions; operate effectively in groups and take a responsible role in the community.

Buckinghamshire Youth Service works with young people, to achieve a better society through:

  •  Listening and actively involving young people
  • Ensuring better policies and services for young people
  • Promoting citizenship and social inclusion
  • Providing opportunities for social education and development of skills and competencies
